Definitely a must see, so huge and filled with Such a huge variety of art to see! Stunning. For kids tho? I just saw sooo many children having meltdowns and bored as with parents dragging them around - I personally don’t think it’s the right place for kids.
Biggest museum in the world! Unfortunately didn’t have the chance to explore all of it. They give you a recorded reading of all the things so you don’t actually need a guide. Amazing, way bigger than what one would expect.
I took a skip the line 3 hour tour of the Louvre and found it excellent. My tour guide spoke English very well and was full of knowledge about all that we saw. After the tour I stayed another 3 hours and continues touring all the marvelous pictures and statues. I would recommend everyone to make the time to visit...take a skip the line tour and you will safe hours waiting on line outside.
