We were told Wednesday was not a good day to visit the museum because it would too crowded. On the contrary! We enjoyed the art collections, spent there pretty much the whole days. Super art pieces, great restaurant, friendly staff. Definitely a must in Paris!
BUT DON'T GO ON A WEEKEND! It's craaaazy. There are areas that are so packed, it makes the experience awful. Go on off hours (if they exist) and if you must see Mona, meditate before you go....it's a scene.
Great. The Louvre is doing a lot to make it accessible in spite of the post pandemic era. Merci. A lot of new areas. Rénovation can be seen in some areas.
