Thank you so much for your kind review!
I went to the 9 am slot on the Monday and queued at 8 am which I really recommend .I was 8th in the queue and there was no more than 20 people looking at the Mona Lisa when I arrived. When I came out at 12 pm there were hundreds in queues in all directions to the main entrances to the Louvre which would be an absolute nightmare. Maybe some people don’t mind queuing for hours - I don’t know.

I'm glad I booked my ticket online and went in the morning because they let our time slot at the certain hour. Once I got inside they have maps available but also everywhere in the museum to help you navigate the giant museum. It was a spectacular experience. GO SEE MONA LISA FIRST ..then carry on your visit cuz it gets so crowded so fast. You find so many iconic paintings and sculptures, they even have some amazing Egypt artifacts (reminded me of Neues museum in Berlin). All in all I loved it.
