Overview:
Step into the heart of art and history at the Louvre Museum
Behold the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa, the world's most recognizable portrait, and marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship of the Venus de Milo, a symbol of feminine beauty.Traverse the vast galleries, where thousands of paintings, sculptures, and artifacts await your discovery.Elevate your experience with pre-purchased online tickets, saving you valuable time and money.Bypass the long lines and skip directly to the museum, where you'll enter the Louvre Pyramid, a contemporary architectural marvel.
The Monalisa a much smaller art piece than I thought. But it was worth waiting in the line. Know I can see why it is the biggest art work of Leonardi Da Vinci. It is simple and beautiful with character!
The Louvre is not to be underestimated for all the art they have stored here. You could literally get lost here if you're not careful as the layout of this museum is very intricate and multileveled, but with that said, you will be experiencing one of the best collections of art and history you'd witness probably throughout Europe. If you're into art and art history, please do not rush when visiting here as you should take the time to soak in all the beauty here. A minimum time if anything in my opinion would be 5 hours because there's that much art here. Ordering ahead is advised if you're planning to not come during opening hours because if you do come early, the line was surprisingly not too long. An interesting fact: the basement of the Louvre connects to the piazza across the street.
Louvre Museum is as amazing as I thought. My wife and I loved it. I would strongly advise to book in advance and to have a specific idea what you want to see. Indeed this is huge and some planning will make the visit easier and the experience better.
