Always love coming to the Louvre. I came here as a little boy, teenager, student, young man, married man and now father of 3. I never get enough and I am happy my little kids feel the same. We took them for a walk through -and there is plenty walking to do- and then we finish by a visit at the Studio where they can enjoy games, puzzles, colouring, etc...... We can't wait to go back next time we are in Paris.
I was shocked that there where not many people in the Ancient Mesopotamia part of the museum. Also almost nobody looking for the oldest written legal document in the East, the Hammurabi code. I have some advice for the people arriving with a ticket and a time slot. Enter the museum directly from the metro station, there is an entrance there, just find it in the maps. You don't have to wait a while in the lines in front of the pyramid, just take a walk from the metro directly below the pyramid and have your ticket scanned. You can buy all your souvenirs there, since they have regular shops with clothes and everything, I especially liked Pylones! Read less
