Thank you for making the time to write a review for us!
We really enjoyed the special Leonardo da Vinci exhibit at the Louvre. The exhibit took about 1 hour to go through. It included his sketches, as well as his paintings and notebooks, which were particularly interesting because he wrote in "mirror writing" - backwards to the reader. It is not clear why he did this, but some think it was to protect his ideas from others, at a glance. He was a brilliant man. After the exhibit, we were able to take the virtual tour of the Mona Lisa, which explained more about how it was created. Then, we went to another part of the Louvre and saw the actual Mona Lisa. Finally, we visited other areas of the Louvre. A very enjoyable visit!
Thank you so much for your kind review!
This is a must see when visiting Paris, loved everything about it. It is busy with tourist everywhere but that didn’t matter, the history and all the beautiful paintings and sculptures made it worth it. I took so many pictures I couldn’t add them all.
