Overview:
Step into the heart of art and history at the Louvre Museum
Behold the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa, the world's most recognizable portrait, and marvel at the exquisite craftsmanship of the Venus de Milo, a symbol of feminine beauty.Traverse the vast galleries, where thousands of paintings, sculptures, and artifacts await your discovery.Elevate your experience with pre-purchased online tickets, saving you valuable time and money.Bypass the long lines and skip directly to the museum, where you'll enter the Louvre Pyramid, a contemporary architectural marvel.
You can literally spend several days taking in the master pieces of art in the Louvre. Your best bet is to start at the exhibition which is most appealing to you and then take it from there. I believe they have a two day pass so you may want to consider that if you have the time to spare. One caveat however is that I found the Mona Lisa to be a downer. There are huge crowds, the painting is actually much smaller in person and it is difficult to spend any appreciable time viewing it.
We went in January without skip the line tickets and it took less than 3 minutes to go through security and were immediately able to purchase tickets at automated kiosk.
We spent a day in the Louvre, but can literally be there for a week and still won't be enough - so much history, so excited to be there. Even for someone ,who just want to see a famous place, to see the history of art this place is highly recommended!
